Damascus Countryside, SANA – Activities of the Eid Festival kicked off in Douma in Damascus countryside with the participation of more than 36 companies.
The festival is organized by the Syrian Trade Company in cooperation with Damascus Countryside Governorate and Damascus and Chamber of Industry.
In a statement to SANA, Director of Syrian Trade Company of Damascus Countryside Branch, Mohammad al-Omari, indicated that the main aim of the festival is to bring the joy of al-Eid to the hearts of al-Ghouta inhabitants who severely suffered due to terrorism and provide them with their needs and requirements at competitive prices.
He added that this is the second festival that is held during Ramadan month, adding that it showcases a wider collection of materials and goods, in addition to special pavilions for clothes.
The event lasts till next Sunday.
