Thursday weather: Temperatures below average, thundershowers expected

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain from 2 to 4 degrees below average as the country is affected by a low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere accompanied by a relatively cold and wet air mass.

Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy in general to become cloudy sometimes in the afternoon and the evening, and thundershowers will fall over different areas.

The wind will be westerly to northwesterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be medium in height.

Different amounts of rainfalls have been registered in the Syrian provinces over the past 24 hours as follows: Sweida 5 mm, Daraa 3 mm, Homs 17 mm and Tartous 3 mm.

The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 15/06, Daraa 14/08, Homs 11/5, Lattakia 20/10, Aleppo 13/5 and Deir Ezzor 16/8.
