Damascus, SANA – The temperatures will remain from 3 to 5 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial seasonal low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that the weather will be hot and the skies will be clear in general while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badiya desert areas.
The wind will be changeable to northwesterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will slightly drop to become around average or slightly above it, and the skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badiya areas.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 40/23, Daraa 38/23, Homs 37/23, Lattakia 32/24 and Deir Ezzor 45/28.
