Moscow, SANA – Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stressed in a phone call with US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson the need for taking measures as not to repeat targeting the Syrian Arab Army by the Washington Coalition.
RT said that the two sides stressed importance of boosting cooperation between Moscow and Washington and utilizing the communication channels between the two countries for settling the crisis in Syria through Astana and Geneva tracks.
Back on June 6th, the US-led international coalition attacked advanced Syrian Arab Army positions on al-Tanf road in the eastern countryside of Homs province, causing human and material losses.
