Damascus, SANA – The temperatures will rise remaining slightly above average as the country is affected by high air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general with chances of local ran fall al-Jazeera area, with a possibility of fog in mountains and some internal areas.
The wind will be westerly to northwesterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be light in height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will continue to rise to be around average and the skies will be clear with some scattered clouds.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 20/9, Daraa 20/10, Homs 18/8, Lattakia 21/12, Aleppo 19/9, and Deir Ezzor 21/10.
