Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will remain above average as the country is affected by a weak low air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and local rain showers will fall in the evening and at night over the northwestern, coastal and al-Jazeera areas.
The wind will be westerly to northwesterly with a light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low to medium in height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will remain above average and the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general as local rain showers are expected to fall over the northwestern and the coastal areas.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 22/9, Daraa 22/8, Homs 20/8, Lattakia 19/10, Aleppo 19/6 and Deir Ezzor 24/9.
