Decree on Exempting Cinema Halls from Customs Tariffs on Imported Equipment, Income Tax ad Local Administration Fees

DAMASCUS, (SANA)- President Bashar al-Assad on Thursday issued Legislative Decree No. 118 for 2011 on exempting the cinema halls from the customs tariffs imposed on imported equipment, as well as the income tax and the local administration fees for five years.

The decree includes the existing cinema halls and those working on updating their services and those to open after the issuance of this decree.

The imported equipment to be exempted will be specified in terms of quality and quantity in a decision by the Culture Minister in agreement with the Ministry of Finance.
