Terrorists Fleeing al-Qseir Killed, Operations Continue in Other Areas

PROVINCES, (SANA)- The army units on Thursday continued pursuing the terrorist groups in Homs and its countryside, killing many terrorists and destroying their dens in the framework of the operations carried out there.

SANA reporter quoted an official source as saying that units of the armed forces ambushed a group of terrorists who were trying to flee al-Qseir city through Shamsin village near Homs-Damascus highway.

The source added that the army units destroyed a heavy machinegun mounted on a vehicle and seized another car loaded with ammunition and stolen medical materials as a result of the operation.

The ambush also resulted in killing and injuring all the terrorists who are affiliated to the so-called "Al-Tawhid Brigade", according to the source.

Th source mentioned that the army units continued hunting the fleeing armed terrorist groups in al-Jawadiyeh village in al-Qseir countryside, leaving many of their members killed and injured. It pointed out that the terrorist groups earlier fled the village back to the farms surrounding it leaving behind their weapons and ammunition.

In al-Rastan city, an army unit carried out a special operation in which it destroyed an ammunition warehouse near the cement factory and a den near Ahmad Qatie School, killing all the terrorists inside it. Among those were Mohammad Ziyad Rahal and Hamad Jihad al-Hussein.

Five Citizens Martyred, Others Wounded while Terrorists Prepare Explosive Device in Damascus Countryside

Five citizens were martyred and others were injured, including women and children while terrorists were preparing an explosive device in a residential neighborhood in Kanaker town in Damascus Countryside.

A military source told SANA that terrorists were making explosive devices inside a den in residential neighborhood in the town, adding that the explosion caused the martyrdom of 5 citizens and the injury of others , including women and children.

The source pointed out that the explosion caused the destruction of the den and killing all terrorists inside it, in addition to huge material damage in the neighboring building.

Terrorists' Dens Targeted, Gunmen, including Non-Syrians, Killed  in Lattakia

Meanwhile, army units, during an operation, targeted Jabhat al-Nusra-linked terrorists' gatherings and dens in al-Rihaniyya and al-Frenluq in Lattakia countryside.

Large numbers of terrorists were killed and wounded during the operation. A rocket launcher base and a base for firing mortar were also destroyed.

According to a military source, terrorists Mohammed Jihad al-Shammat, Abdul-Bary al-Nabki, Firas Shiro, Bassam al-Baghdadi, Ahmed Issa, Azzam al-Farossi, Mohammed Yahya al-As'ad, Mus'ab Ibrahim Istnapoli, Mohammed Khair Eddin al-Darwish, Ahmed Mohammed al-Darwish, Omar al-Sheikh Ali and Jordanian Abu al-Abed, nicknamed al-Aqeed, the Leader of the so-called Um al-Mumenin battalion and Egyptian Osman al-Sayed Ahmed were identified among the dead.

Army Units Inflict Heavy Losses upon Terrorists in Damascus Countryside

Units of the armed forces carried out a series of special operations against terrorists' dens and gatherings in Adra, al-Mlyeha, al-Kasimia, al-Zamania and Darayaa, killing and injuring several terrorists.

An official source told SANA reporter that the army units continued pursuing "Jabhat al-Nusra" terrorists in Adra al-Balad and the area surrounding it, killing and injuring several terrorists, in addition to destroying their equipment.

The source added that other army units killed and injured several terrorists, including Ali Said to the east of Tameco for pharmaceutical industry in al-Mlyeha town.

In the eastern Gouta, the army units destroyed a terrorists' den along with the weapons and ammunition inside it in the farms surrounding al-Kasimia and al-Zamania towns, killing all terrorists inside the den, including Hussein Hranba.

Meanwhile, other army units carried out operations against terrorists in Darayaa city, inflicting heavy losses upon them.    

Army Eliminates Terrorists in Damascus Countryside

The Syrian Army continued operations in Damascus Countryside and inflicted major losses on the terrorists.

An official source told SANA reporter that scores of terrorists were eliminated in Beir Sahim, Harasta, Hajira, and Wadi Barada in Damascus Countryside.

The source added that units of the army destroyed a terrorist den in Harasta city and destroyed a mortar and a heavy machinegun in Hijira town.

In Wadi Barada, a unit of the army clashed with an armed terrorist group and eliminated the majority of it.

In Jobar, the army units continued pursuing the terrorists and killed several of them.

Army Units Eliminate Terrorists in Aleppo and its Countryside

Units of the armed forces carried out operations against terrorists' dens and gatherings in Aleppo countryside, killing and injuring a number of terrorists in the area surrounding Minneg Airport, the Central Prison and the southern entrance of Aleppo city, destroying their equipment.

An official source told SANA that the army units destroyed several terrorists' dens along with the weapons and ammunition inside them in Azaz, in addition to killing a number of terrorists in Minnegh and Kafer Khasher towns.

The source added that other army units destroyed a 23 mm caliber anti-aircraft gun near Blaka restaurant  and killed several terrorists in Hryitan and the area surrounding the Central Prison.

The source pointed out that an army unit clashed with an armed terrorist group members who were perpetrating acts of terrorism on al-Misilmia- Aleppo road, killing most of them.

In the south entrance of Aleppo city, other army units killed and injured several terrorists on Aleppo- Idleb road, destroying their weapons and equipment.

Terrorists Killed in Idleb Countryside

Units of the armed forces inflicted heavy losses upon terrorists in several areas in Idleb countryside.\

A military source told SANA that an army unit repelled terrorists who were attempting to attack a military checkpoint on Idleb-Sraqib road, killing most of them.

The source added that the army units destroyed terrorists' weapons and killed scores of them.

Among the dead terrorists were Mohammad Kabani and Ahmad Alawi Hassan who were leaders of the armed terrorist groups affiliated to "Jabhat al-Nusra."

The source pointed out that the army units destroyed a rocket launcher, killing and injuring several terrorists in Kminas in Idleb countryside, while another army unit destroyed terrorists' dens and gatherings along with the weapons and ammunition inside them in al-Alyeh, Halouz, Sermin and Maart al-Nouman towns and villages.
