PROVINCES, (SANA)-For the third day, the terrorist groups in Deir Ezzor continued on Sunday their violations of the declaration of the cessation of military operations which the Armed Forces have committed to.
An official source told SANA reporter on Sunday that the Army units confronted an armed group that violated the cease-fire near al-Halabiya traffic circle in the city, killing terrorist Abu al-Baraa al-Shihlawi, known as Ammar Nawar al-Hajr, a leader in al-Qaeda, along with two other terrorists.
Another Army unit responded to an armed group which opened fire on the army checkpoints in al-Rashdiya neighborhood in Deir Ezzor, killing a number of terrorists.
Among the killed were Ghizwan al-Hussein, known as Abu Musaab, a leader of an armed terrorist group.

In similar violations, the armed terrorist groups continued their attacks in several areas in Damascus Countryside.
An official source told SANA reporter that an armed terrorist group attacked army checkpoints in Zamalka town, which was repelled by the Army members.
A number of terrorists were killed and other were injured including Abu Saeed from Zamalka, leader of an armed terrorist group, and Mohammad al-Krendi from Erbin town.
The source noted that the terrorists' weapons were seized.
In Harasta town, an armed terrorist group attacked the Police Hospital and al-Bairouni Hospital for cancer diseases with RPGs.
The source said the group's members were confronted by a unit of the Armed Forces, pointing out that the damage caused to the two hospitals was only material with no casualties reported among the medical cadres.

SANA reporter quoted an official source in the province as saying that the military engineering units dismantled the explosives in the car which they estimated at 1000 kg.

The security forces confronted an attempt by an armed terrorist group to attack the Police Academy in Khan al-Asal and eliminated a number of the terrorists.
Meanwhile, an armed terrorist group fired five RPGs in al-Zahra neighborhood in the city, three of them fired near al-Rasoul al-Aazam Mosque, causing material damage.
Another terrorist group targeted with a shell the Municipal Palace in the city hitting its third floor. Material damage only was caused to the building without casualties.
