PROVINCES,(SANA) - Armed forces on Saturday carried out a qualitative operation in Deir al-Asafir in Damascus countryside, killing a big number of terrorist mercenaries and arresting many of their leaders.
Also, armed forces confiscated a car loaded with 68 automatic rifles, two machine guns and ammunition in Addumeir.
Terrorists Shell Two Churches and a Monastery in Aleppo
A group of armed terrorists targeted two churches and a monastery with three mortar shells in Aleppo city.
SANA reporter said that the first shell hit the Church of Mar Michael, and the second one hit the Monastery of Sisters of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in al-Azizieh neighborhood in Aleppo.
SANA reporter added that the terrorists later shelled the Arabian Anglican Church in al-Jadidah neighborhood in Aleppo, pointing out that no causalities were reported.
In Bab al-Maqam in al-Kallaseh square in Aleppo city, an armed forces unit ambushed a terrorist group and eliminated the majority of the group's members.
Armed Forces Continue Pursuing Terrorists in Damascus, Kill Scores of Them
The armed forces continued pursuing the armed terrorist groups in al-Tadamun and Palestine Street in Damascus.
The army killed scores of the mercenary terrorists, seized a hideout used by them to manufacture improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and freed a number of kidnapped citizens.

A number of gunmen turned themselves in to the authorities in Ma'arat al-Numan in Idleb countryside.
An official source told SANA reporter that the authorities started to process their cases as to allow them to return to their normal lives after pledging not to carry weapons again.
