PROVINCES, (SANA) – The Syrian armed forces on Friday cleaned Akyoul and Qadi Askar Roundabouts in Aleppo from terrorists.

The armed forces units took control of the square of al-Mashhad neighborhood.

Units of the armed forces chased armed terrorist groups that commit killing, kidnapping and sabotage acts in al-Iza'a and Saif al-Dawleh neighborhoods in Aleppo.

A source in the province told SANA reporter that the armed forces units inflicted heavy losses upon the terrorists killing and wounding many of them.

An official source in Aleppo told SANA that an army unit repelled an armed terrorist group that positioned near Mohammad Qassar School in al-Shuhada' neighborhood in Masaken Hananou, killing and injuring scores of terrorists, while the rest fled.

Another unit clashed with mercenary terrorists who tried to attack Aleppo airport and killed most of them, while the locals of al-Maadi neighborhood confronted armed terrorist groups who tried to take control of the neighborhood and forced them out.

Gunmen are frequently throwing stun grenades and RPGs but the citizens are confronting them.

An armed terrorist group fired an RPG on Bawabet al-Qasab area causing material damage to the Orthodox Armenian Church there.

The Armed Forces Arrest Terrorists, Storm Their Dens in Aleppo, Kill Leader of Terrorist Group

An army unit clashed with an armed terrorist group involved in killing and robbery who tried to booby-trap nearby buildings.

An official source told SANA that Terrorists Killed near al-Nairab Bridge in Aleppo.

The armed forces arrested terrorists who were wearing women' clothes in Salah Eddin neighborhood.

The terrorists were trying to plant explosives in buildings and on the bodies of dead gunmen in the area.

Authorities also stormed the dens of terrorists in Salah Eddin area, and cleared the area completely from them.

The armed forces continued pursuing the armed terrorist groups in al-Zahra'a, Maysaloun and al-Sejn Street in New Aleppo.

SANA reporter quoted a source in the province as saying that the armed forces inflicted heavy losses upon the terrorists and killed scores of them, adding that several of them are of foreign nationalities.

Another official source told SANA that that Yehya Bahjat Jamal, the leader of one of the largest terrorist groups in Aleppo, was killed by the armed forces In Bab al-Hadid area, and that his car, which was equipped with a DShK machinegun, was destroyed.

The source added that a Libyan sniper was killed in Jeb al-Qubba area near Bab al-Hadid, noting that most of the members of the group led by the aforementioned Jamal are Libyans.

Security Forces Repel Attack on Aleppo Central Prison... Weapons and Communication Devices Seized  

Security forces confronted three terrorists who attempted to attack Aleppo Central prison and shot them dead, confiscating their weapons and detonating an explosive device which was found in the terrorists' car. 

The authorities also clashed with an armed terrorist group which was trying to infiltrate to al-Zahra'a area in Aleppo.

Authorities seized the terrorists' weapons and ammunition and confiscated cameras and communication devices that were in their possession.

The armed forces seized a car loaded with weapons in al-Jamiliyeh area in Aleppo and apprehended four terrorists who were in the car.

Meanwhile, authorities continue preparation to clean the areas of Saif al-Dawleh and al-Sukkari as there are large numbers of snipers on the rooftops of the buildings.

Armed terrorist groups suffer from shortage of ammunition as the Syrian army units tightened their grip on the city and destroyed the terrorists' command centers and weapons warehouses.

Terrorists Fire Mortar Rounds at Village in Homs Countryside, Ten Citizens Martyred

Ten citizens from Damina al-Sharqiya village in Homs countryside were martyred when a terrorist group fired mortar rounds at the village, hitting the house containing the ten martyrs.

The martyrs are Milad Ibrahim Razzouq, Alifo Rezqallah al-Gharbi and his brother, Ibrahim Khalil Razzouq and his brother, Latifa Elias Esketnafi, Naim Khalil Razzouq, Mayyada Sleiman Talli, Ibtisam Khalil Razzouq, and Nadine Samuel al-Gharbi.

Qualitative Operation against Terrorists in Homs, Several Terrorist Infiltration Attempts from Lebanon Foiled

Authorities carried out a qualitative operation in Bab Hood neighborhood in Homs killing a number of terrorists who holed up in al-Mohandiseen Building.

A source in the province said that the terrorists committed sabotage acts and fired shells on the surrounding neighborhoods.

Last night, the authorities foiled several terrorist infiltration attempts from the Lebanese territories through al-Ariyda, al-Ghaida and al-Bahloniyeh sites in Tal Kalakh countryside in Homs.

The authorities confronted the terrorists who were riding motorbikes while others on foot , a source in the province told SANA reporter.

Attempt to Blow up Booby-trapped Car in Homs Countryside Foiled

The competent authorities foiled an attempt to blow up a car loaded with a big quantity of explosives that was intended to target law-enforcement members in Souq al-Ghanam east of Deir Baalbeh in Homs countryside.

A source in the governorate told SANA that the booby-trapped car was found with a tied person inside who was later known to have been kidnapped by armed terrorist groups.

The source added that the engineering units dismantled the explosive devices that were rigged for remote detonation and set the person inside free.

The source said that the devices weighed around 250 kg of TNT.

In al-Zaafarana area in Homs countryside, an armed forces unit clashed with an armed terrorist group and inflicted heavy losses upon them.

In al-Sultaniya area in Homs countryside, the authorities, in cooperation with locals, confronted an armed terrorist group and eliminated all its members.

Authorities Destroy Terrorists' Vehicle in al-Qseir Countryside

The authorities pursued an armed terrorist group that was using a car equipped with Doshka machinegun which terrorized citizens between al-Shayahat and al-Zira'a towns in al- Qseir Countryside.

SANA correspondent quoted a source in the governorate as saying that the clash left the car destroyed and the terrorists inside killed.

The competent authorities destroyed a command center for the armed terrorist groups in the farms near al-Nahrieh village, killing and injuring several terrorists.

An official source told SANA that among the killed was the terrorists Muheyeddin Zalfa, a leader of a terrorist group in the area.

Authorities Pursue Terrorist Groups in Tal Mnein in Damascus Countryside

The authorities pursued armed terrorist groups in Tal Mnein town in Damascus countryside. An official source told SANA that the clash left a number of terrorists dead and injured.

Big numbers were also arrested and their weapons seized. The source added that the competent authorities set free 10 law-enforcement members who were kidnapped earlier by armed terrorist groups.

Terrorists Open Fire on Passing Cars in Idleb, Kill and Wound Children and Civilians

An armed terrorist group opened fire on two civilian cars on Ariha-Saraqeb road in Idleb Province.

A 9 year-old child, Abdullah Abdo, who was in the first car, was martyred, and his father Mohammad Abdo was wounded. Citizen Waleed Bakri was martyred and his son Mohammad was seriously injured.

Two Explosive Devices Dismantled in Hama

In Hama, the military engineering units dismantled two 20-kg explosive devices planted by an armed terrorist group in Gharb al-Mashtal neighborhood on the City.

A source in the province told SANA reporter that the radio-controlled explosive devices were planted in a residential area nead al-Tetan Mosque.

Authorities Pursue Terrorists in Deir Ezzor, Inflict Heavy Losses upon Them

Authorities pursued an armed terrorist group in al-Baladiyeh Villat neighborhood in Deir Ezzor inflicting heavy losses upon its members.

Meanwhile, the authorities chased another group of terrorists who attacked citizens and prevented them from reaching their workplaces in Khsham town in the countryside of Deir Ezzor.

The chasing operation resulted in the killing and wounding of a number of terrorists. The terrorists Khalil al-Mohammad and Khaled al-Shami were identified.

A source in the province told SANA reporter that the authorities destroyed a command center in Mo Hassan city in the countryside of Deir Ezzor which was used to store weapons and ammunition.

The authorities pursued armed terrorists in al-Muwazzafin and al-Ardi neighborhoods in Deir Ezzor, causing scores of deaths and injuries among them.

SANA reporter quoted a source in the governorate as saying that Obaida al-Jaber and Issa Jaddou' al-Sheikh were among the killed terrorists.

The source added that the competent authorities in al-Mayadeen city repelled an armed terrorist group that attacked the law-enforcement members, inflicting heavy losses on the terrorists.

Awad Abdulhamid al-Akoul and Ahmad Khalil al-Badawi were among the dead.

The authorities pursued armed terrorist groups in the neighborhoods of al-Jbeileh, al-Ardi and al-Hamidieh. The clashes left a number of terrorist members dead.

SANA correspondent quoted an official source in the governorate as saying that two cars used by the terrorists were destroyed. 

Authorities Clash with Terrorists in Daraa

Authorities in Daraa clashed with terrorist groups in Saida town killing a number of gunmen.

A source in the province said that the terrorists Yaser Tayseer Sbeih and Anas Mohammad al-Masri.

In the areas of Izra'a, Da'el and Bosra al-Cham in Daraa countryside, the authorities pursued armed terrorist groups and inflicted heavy losses upon them.

Two of the terrorists who were killed were identified as Anas Mohammad Abdelghaffar al-Jalil and Ahmad Rashed al-Tu'ma.
