PROVINCES, (SANA) – Authorities in Deir Ezzor clashed with an armed terrorist group in al-Matar al-Qadeem neighborhood, killing and wounding a number of terrorists.
The authorities also clashed with another armed terrorist group in al-Hamidiyeh neighborhood whose members had attacked citizens and law-enforcement members, killing and wounding some of them.
Terrorists Killed in Clash with Authorities in Deir Ezzor
The authorities clashed with an armed terrorist group driving 10 stolen cars who attacked civilians and law-enforcement members in al-Mereia neighborhood in Deir Ezzor.
A source in the governorate told SANA correspondent that the clash left the 10 cars destroyed while the terrorists were killed.
The source added that the armed group threw the bodies of other terrorists who were killed in a clash with the competent authorities earlier in the Euphrates river.
An Explosive Device Factory Seized in Hama
The authorities seized an explosive device factory in al-Arbaeen neighborhood in Hama city.
A source in the province told SANA reporter that the authorities found a large amount of explosive devices and other tools used for making them inside the factory.
Explosive Device Kills Several Terrorists in Homs
Several terrorists were killed on Saturday as an explosive device that they were trying to plant in a water tank al-Hisn town in Homs countryside blew up.
A source in the province told SANA reporter that the explosion led to killing and wounding several terrorists and sabotaging the main water tank of the town.
Authorities Raid Terrorist Hideout in Homs
After investigations and in cooperation with locals, the authorities raided a terrorist hideout in Homs, resulting in the death of a number of terrorist in the ensuing clash and the arrest of others.
During the raid, the authorities confiscated a pickup truck equipped with a 14.5mm heavy machinegun with thousands of rounds and a spare barrel, in addition to mortar rounds, RPG launchers with rounds, a sniper rifle and ammo.
