PROVINCES, (SANA)- In the framework of targeting the national expertise and intellectuals , an armed terrorist group assassinated Director of Harasta Dispensary Brigadier Gen. Doctor Ghassan Abu al-Dahab, near his house in Rukn Eddin Neighborhood in Damascus.

A source in Damascus Governorate told SANA reporter that terrorists detonated an explosive device attached to the doctor's car causing his immediate martyrdom.

A Citizen Killed in al-Sayyeda Zainab in Damascus Countryside

In al-Sayyeda Zainab outskirts in Damascus countryside, citizen Abdul-Quddous Jbara was killed by the fire of an armed terrorist group which stormed his house.

SANA reporter quoted a source in the Governorate's Police Command as saying that an armed terrorist group stormed the house of Jbara, shot him dead and injured his brother.

Authorities Clash with Armed Terrorist Group in al-Rstan, Kill and Arrests Many Terrorists

Meanwhile, the competent authorities clashed with an armed terrorist group that committed sabotage acts, intimidated citizens and vandalized the private and public properties in al-Rastan in Homs countryside.

A source in Homs Governorate told SANA reporter that the clash resulted in killing and wounding a number of terrorists, arresting others and seizing their weapons.

The source added that among the dead terrorists was Yousef al-Ashtar, who is wanted for crimes of killing, assault, vandalism, burglary and theft.

Oil Field Guards Clash with Armed Terrorist Group in Deir Ezzor

In the same context,  Al-Kherata oil field guard members clashed on Wednesday with an armed terrorist group in Deir Ezzor province and killed, arrested and seized the weapons of many terrorists.

SANA reporter in Deir Ezzor said that the clashes resulted in confiscating a car loaded with quantities of weapons, ammunition and explosive devices.

Armed Terrorist Group Detonates a Bridge on Homs-Masyaf Highway

An armed terrorist group detonated a bridge on Homs-Masyaf highway leading to destroying it completely.

SANA reporter in Homs province said that an explosive device planted under the bridge set off, adding that there were no human casualties.

The bridge was attacked by an armed terrorist group two months ago.

Captain Martyred by Terrorists' Gunfire on Damascus – Daraa Road

Captain Anas Mousa was martyred by the gunfire of an armed terrorist group who targeted a police patrol tasked with protecting an Italian media delegation on Damascus – Daraa road, near Kherbet Ghazaleh crossroads while they were on their way to inspect the situation in Daraa province.

A source at the Police Command in the province told SANA reporter that an armed terrorist group opened fire on the patrol's car causing the death of Captain Mousa, adding that there were no injuries among the Italian delegation members.

5 Citizens Killed by Terrorists' Gunfire

5 citizens were martyred and 9 others injured by an armed terrorist group that broke into their homes in a number of neighborhoods in Hama and shot them for refusing to join the terrorists in their acts of vandalism.

SANA correspondent quoted a source in the governorate as saying that the terrorists raided the house of Hassan al-Fatwani in Haret al-Samak neighborhood and opened fire, killing a child, Hamza al-Fatwani, and injuring Hassan al-Fatwani, Ahmad al-Fatwani, and Ibrahim al-Fatwani.

The source added that the group broke into the house of Ahmad al-Hassan in the same neighborhood and opened fire at his family, killing his wife, Ghazwa Barakat, and his brother's wife Fatima Moheyeddin Saleh.

An armed group also broke into the house of Morhaf Said al-Tawil and other houses in Masha' al-Tayyar neighborhood and opened fire, injuring him and his son Ayman, Doa'a Bassam, Mohammad Bashir. Bassam Mohammad Karrouma was martyred.

Terrorists also raided a house in Janoub al-Mala'b neighborhood, killing Marwan Adnan Kanjo, and injuring Zaher Jandali and Sami Azhar.

Authorities Seize Large Amounts of Weapons in Homs

Authroties seized large amounts of weapons belonging to armed terrorist groups in al-Waer, Der Balbeh, al-Qarabis, and al-Qusour neighborhoods in Homs city.

A source in the province told SANA reporter that the seized weapons included AK-47 rifles, Belgian sniper rifles, pump-action shotguns and a large amount of bullets in addition to RPG launchers.

Authorities Clash with Armed Terrorist Group in Jabal al-Zawiah, Kill 4 Terrorists

The authorities in Idleb governorate confronted on Wednesday an armed terrorist group that attempted to block the road between Eblin and Balshoun villages in Jabal al-Zawiah and opened fire at passers-by and cars.

A source in the governorate told SANA correspondent that the competent authorities killed four terrorists, among them Ahmad Yehia al-Khatib.

2 law-enforcement members were injured in the clash.

Authorities Confiscate Weapons and Ammo in Homs Countryside, Clash with Terrorists in Hama

The authorities in Homs province raided a terrorist hideout in the village of al-Sumakiyat in al-Qsaier area in Homs countryside.

A source in the province told SANA's correspondent that the authorities confiscated weapons and ammo during the raid, including RPG launchers, two machineguns and automatic rifles.

In Tadmur in Homs countryside, the authorities arrested two terrorists who were preparing to transport 11 rifles and magazine concealed in a secret compartment in a bus.

The bus, which had fake license plates, was heading from Deir Ezzor to Damascus.

In Hama city, the authorities clashed with an armed terrorist group that had been attacking citizens in al-Qusur neighborhood, killing a number of terrorists and arresting others and confiscating their weapons.

A source in the province said that confiscated weapons include RPG RPG launchers, machineguns, automatic rifles and two sniper rifles, in addition to night-vision goggles, remote-control devices, ammo, and military satchels and uniforms.

During their pursuit of terrorists in Janub al-Mala'ab neighborhood in Hama city, the authorities confiscated weapons including sniper rifles, automatic rifles, RPG launchers, Energa rockers, handguns, military satchels and ammo.

Authorities Clash with Terrorists in al-Rastan, Douma and Harasta

The authorities clashed with an armed terrorist group in an-Rastan area in Homs countryside, resulting in the deaths and injuries of a number of terrorists.

After investigations, the authorities raided a number of terrorist hideouts in Douma, Damascus Countryside, clashing with the terrorists and killing a number of them while others were arrested.

In Harasta, Damascus Countryside, the authorities arrested three terrorists who had been terrorizing locals and vandalizing public and private properties.
