PROVINCES, (SANA)- On the music of the 'Martyr' and the 'Farewell', the bodies of 22 martyrs from the army and the law enforcement forces on Monday were escorted from Tishreen, Aleppo, Deir Ezzor and Zahi Azraq Military Hospitals to their final resting place.
Solemn funeral processions were held for the martyrs who were targeted by armed terrorist groups while they were in line of duty in Damascus Countryside, Homs, Idleb and Deir Ezzor.
The martyrs are:
-Colonel Engineer Mohammad Mahmoud al-Zoua'bi, from Tartous.
-Colonel Ahmad Ibrahim al-Ekdeh, from Homs.
-Lieutenant Colonel Munzer Akel al-Sharara, from Quneitra.
-Chief Warrant Officer Mahmoud Ali Jahjah, from Hama.
-Chief Warrant Officer Mohammad Ali al-Ahiri, from Hasaka.
-Chief Warrant Officer Mohammad Kamel Hasan, from Lattakia.
-Sergeant Major Bashar Mohammad Abu Said, from Deir Ezzor.
-Sergeant Wael Anis Bairaq, from Lattakia.
-Sergeant Ayman Mahmoud Abbas, from Lattakia.
-Sergeant Ali Salman Osman, from Lattakia.
-Sergeant Manar Mohammad Khalaf, from Damascus Countryside.
-Corporal Tarek Ahmad Ismael, from Aleppo.
-Corporal Taysser Yahya Sayyed Mahmoud, from Idleb.
-Corporal Safwan Musa'ab al-Kok, from Idleb.
-Corporal Bashar Ibrahim Saleh, from Deir Ezzor.
-Conscript Ahmad Mahmoud al-Khalif, from Idleb.
-Conscript Mustafa Ahmad al-Ahmad, from Aleppo.
-Conscript Mohammad Mahmoud Hasan, from Aleppo.
-Conscript Ahmad Omar Orabi, from Damascus Countryside.
-Policeman Mohammad Ahmad Salloum, from Aleppo.
-Policeman Mohammad Imad al-Ali, from Tartous.
-Policeman Khaled Taysser Said, from Daraa.
The families of the martyrs expressed confidence in the Syrian people's ability to overcome the crisis through adhering to the national unity, asserting that the blood of the martyrs is the guarantee for fortifying Syria in the face of the challenges.
They expressed rejection of all forms of foreign interference in Syria's internal affairs which aim at fragmenting it and undermining its firm stances towards the Arab just issues, its support to the resistance and rejection of the US-Zionist project in the region .
