DAMASCUS, (SANA) – Nine army and law-enforcement martyrs were escorted on Thursday from Tishreen and Aleppo Military Hospitals in Damascus and Aleppo to their final resting place.
Solemn funeral processions were held for the martyrs who were targeted by armed terrorist groups while they were in the line of duty in Damascus Countryside and Idleb.
The martyrs are:
Lieutenant Colonel Wael Issa Hassan from Hama.
Chief Warrant Officer Jaber Suleiman Darwish from Homs.
Warrant Officer Qusai Samie al-Qassa'a from Lattakia.
Sergeant Major Amer Ali Youssef from Lattakia.
First Lieutenant Tammam Ali Hassoun, from Lattakia.
Corporal Conscript Ahmad Abel-Qader Jdei, from Homs.
Corporal Conscript Ali Khalid Hamdou, from Aleppo.
Conscript Hassan Ahmad Arnous, from Damascus Countryside.
Conscript Anas Haytham Jouaneh, from Damascus Countryside.
The martyrs' families stressed that the systematic terrorism perpetrated by the armed terrorist groups won't deter the Syrians from adhering to their national and pan-Arab stances.
They called for confronting the terrorist criminals who are carrying out foreign agendas that aim at undermining Syria's national unity and stability.
They also condemned the criminal acts committed by the armed terrorist groups against the Syrian people.
