DAMASCUS, (SANA)_Crowds of citizens gathered in Saba' Bahrat Square in Damascus on Friday to express support to the role of the Syrian Arab Army in preserving security and safety and appreciation for their sacrifices to protect Syria.

The citizens expressed trust that Syria will come out stronger from the crisis due to the national unity and the comprehensive reforms that affected positively the political, economic and social aspects of life in Syria.

Participants told SANA that the Syrians have voiced rejection of vandalism acts and killing perpetrated by armed terrorist groups against civilians and law-enforcement members.

They also considered that the rallies and gatherings across the Syrian provinces prove the people's support to their country and leader and rejection of violence.
