IDLEB/HOMS, (SANA) – Engineering units on Sunday dismantled four explosive devices planted by terrorist groups on the road between Khan Shehoun and al-Maara in Idleb countryside.
An informed source told SANA's correspondent that the devices ranged in yield from 20 to 30 kilograms, and that they were rigged for remote detonation.
The source also said that the authorities tracked down a terrorist group in the thickets surrounding the town of Kafr Nabl in al-Zawiye mountain and clashed with them, killing a number of terrorists and injuring others.
The authorities confiscated a Nissan SUV used by the terrorists which contained assorted weapons.
In Homs, the authorities dismantled a number of explosive devices rigged for remote detonations which were planted by terrorists in streets and buildings in Deir Baalba neighborhood, with the explosives' yields ranging from 10 to 50 kilograms.
The authorities also confiscated a large amount of materials used for making bombs, including detonators, batteries, fertilizer and gunpowder.
