Twenty Army and Law Enforcement Martyrs Laid to Rest

DAMASCUS, (SANA) – Twenty army and law enforcement martyrs on Saturday were escorted from Tishreen Military Hospital, Police Hospital in Damascus, National Hospital in Sweida and Zahi Azraq Military Hospital in Lattakia to their final resting place.

Solemn funeral processions were held for the martyrs who were targeted by armed terrorist groups while they were in the line of duty in Damascus, Damascus Countryside, Daraa, Hama and Idleb.

Colonel Mouaffaq Suleiman al-Hamad, from Sweida.

Lieutenant Colonel Sami Mahmoud Mohammad, from Tartous.

Lieutenant Colonel Ziyad Abdul-Rahman Brimo, from Aleppo.

Major Hayyan Mahmoud Merei, from Lattakia.

Chief Warrant Officer Shaaban Abdul-Karim Salim, from Tartous.

Chief Warrant Officer Ahmad Jaber Qassem, from Homs.

Warrant  Officer Raed Saad al-Abdullah, from Lattakia.

Warrant Officer Saher Mohammad al-Ahmad, from Hama.

Sergeant Abdul-Monim Abdul-Latif Kheiri, from al-Hasaka.

Corporal Rimon Nizar al-Shaar, from Hama.

Conscript Mohammad Ghazi al-Hassan, from Deir Ezzor.

Conscript Ahmad Mohammad al-Asli, from Raqqa.

Conscript Bashar Mohammad Jamal, from Idleb.

Conscript Bashar Mohammad Awad Jinadi, from Daraa.

Conscript Hokar Hamad Shabo, from Aleppo.

Conscript Daghim Abdul-Rahman Tafilieh, from Damascus Countryside.

Conscript Ali Khallouf al-Ali, from Idleb.

Conscript Khaled Yehya Madad, from Der Ezzor.

Conscript Nazim Suleiman al-Kaoud, from al-Hasaka.

Conscript Ramadan Hamada, from Idleb.

The martyrs' families called for confronting the terrorists in order to restore Syria's security and stability, expressing confidence in the ability of the Syrian people to overcome the crisis through adhering to national unity.

They condemned the criminal acts perpetrated by the armed terrorist groups backed by some Arab and Western countries.
