HOMS, (SANA)-A number of injured army members narrated stories illustrating the criminality of the outlawed armed groups against citizens, properties, and army and law-enforcement members in Homs.
An injured army member told the Syrian TV ''We were tasked with picking up when we were exposed to intense fire at the entrance of Baba Amro by armed men claiming to be peaceful demonstrators, with arms in their hands!''
The injured added ''the armed men kept firing at us intensively from rooftops, using sniper rifles and machine guns.''
Another injured member said ''We were at a checkpoint in Barta near the Sports Hall in Rastan when we were attacked and besieged by armed groups using machine guns and bombs. They threw a bomb next to me and I grabbed hold of it in an attempt to throw it away, but it exploded. I lost my hand and foot in the incident."
An injured from the law-enforcement members said ''We were assigned with a mission at al-Nazihin neighborhood to open roads blocked by armed men. As we tried to make our way into some neighborhoods, we were surprised by veiled armed men firing at us from all directions."
Another injured says "A clash between us and an armed terrorist group took place at al-Nazihin neighborhood and a number of my colleagues were injured, so we tried to help them when another armed group started shooting at us from the opposite direction, and its members hurled bombs at us and we were all injured."
