Syria Wins Gold, Two Bronze Medals in Arab Artistic Gymnastics Championship

DAMASCUS, (SANA) – Syria's National Team for Artistic Gymnastics won a gold and two bronze medals at the 4th Arab Artistic Gymnastics Championship taking place in Kuwait.

Gymnast Souhil al-Kurdi won men's gold medal in rings competition, while gymnast Fadi Bahlawan won a bronze medal in men's floor exercises and a bronze in rings despite his injury.

Gymnasts from 15 Arab countries participated in this event.

In 2011, Gymnast Fsdi Bahlawan won the gold medal in Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Slovenia and Souhil al-Kurdi got a bronze in Croatia Artistic Gymnastics World Cup.
