Syrian Boxers Win Gold and Bronze Medals in Uralsk Tournament in Kazakhstan

DAMASCUS, (SANA) – Syrian boxer Mohammad Ghossoun won a gold medal in the 91 kg weight class in the Askar Kulibayev International Tournament which took place in Uralsk, Kazakhstan, with the participation of 81 athletes from 7 countries.

Boxer Somar Ghossoun also won a bronze medal in the over 91 kg weight class.

The Syrian boxing team is set to travel to the city of Atyrau to participate in a tournament there, and later will travel to the city of Almaty to participate in the 15th International Boxing Elite Tournament which is expected to see the participation of over 25 countries.
