Exhibition and Poetry Evening In Syrian Cultural Center in Brazil

DAMASCUS, (SANA) – Czech artist Cristina Cabarone started her exhibition in the Syrian Cultural Center in Sao Paulo in Brazil under the title 'Effects of Arab Architecture in Brazil'.

Carbone said that the columns, arches and domes clearly indicate the effect of the Arab architectural art in most of the buildings in Brazil.

She added that Portuguese was affected by the Arab civilization and art in Andalusia and moved this art to Brazil.

At the Syrian Cultural Center also, a poetry evening was held with the participation of several Arab and Brazilian poets, who recited poems on Syria and Damascus.

The evening was attended by representative of Arab and Brazilian sides in addition to a large numbers of the Arab and Brazilian communities.
