Damascus, SANA- Palestinian Film Director Saeed al-Bitar said that one hundred artists, including thirty Syrians, will start a three-day visit to Gaza Strip starting February 27th.
Palestinian Safa News Agency quoted al-Bitar as saying that the artists are coming from all Arab countries in coordination with Arab League and Arab Artists Federation to make this visit of solidarity with Gaza's people and artists.
He added that the artist will be received at Rafah Crossing and it is expected to hold a press conference at the beginning of the visit.
The next day, festival will organized honoring one hundred Palestinian artists. Artist Duraid Laham is scheduled to participate in the event by acting the last episode of "Kasak Ya Watan" play.
The delegation includes 30 Syrian artists, 30 Egyptian, chairmen of Arab Artists Syndicates, three representatives of each syndicate, Syrian artist Duraid Laham, Saudi singer Mohammad Abdo, Iraqi singer Kazem al-Saher, writer Osama Anwar Okaha, artist Fardous Abdel-Hamid … and others.
