Syria, Philippines: Draft Agreement on Preventing Double Taxation

Manila, (SANA)-Syria and Philippines will soon conclude an agreement on preventing double taxation and tax evasion, connected with income taxes. A delegation representing Syrian Finance Ministry has agreed with Filipino officials on most of a draft agreement on preventing double taxation and tax evasion, connected with income taxes, Syrian official source said. The agreement will contribute in bolstering the economic and financial cooperation between Syria and Philippines and increasing the investment opportunities between them. The two sides agreed to hold a second round of talks in Damascus as soon as possible. The Syrian delegation was headed by Advisor of Finance Minister for Taxes and Tariffs H.Zain/ M.O
