DAMASCUS, (SANA) – Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Dr. Qadri Jamil discussed on Wednesday with Lebanon's Ambassador in Damascus Michel Khouri means for developing cooperation between the two countries in economy and trade.
Dr. Jamil stressed the need to strengthen economic cooperation due to the historic bonds and the integrated economic and commercial components between Syria and Lebanon, with emphasis on building strong relations to serve the two countries.
In turn, Ambassador Khouri underlined the need to continue full coordination and cooperation between the two countries in economy, trade and investment, which will have positive effects on their economies.
Dr. Jamil also discussed with Ambassador of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in Damascus Choe Su Hon cooperation between the two countries, particularly economic and commercial relations.

He called for expanding the standing economic and commercial cooperation between the two countries in all fields to serve the interests of their people.
For his part, Ambassador Su Hon voiced his country's readiness to continue and boost cooperation between Syria and the DPRK in economy and trade, hoping that Syria will emerge from the crisis soon and restore security and stability so that it may move forward to build its future.
