Armenia, Iran : Foreign Interference Aggravated Crisis in Syria

YEREVAN, (SANA) - Armenian President, Serzh Sargsyan, and Iranian Foreign Minister, Ali Akbar Salehi, stressed that foreign interference in Syria's domestic affairs has aggravated the crisis in it.

during his meeting with Salehi in Armenia, Sargsyan considered that interference in Syria's internal affairs has increased violence which led to the aggravation of the crisis.

In turn, Salehi stressed that foreign interference in Syria has exacerbated the crisis, renewing his country's support to the political program proposed by the Syrian government for solving the crisis.

He also underlined his country's support to the Syrian people to be able to exercise their right in determining their future in a secure and stable atmosphere, clarifying that Iran's stance is overt regarding the crisis in Syria. Salehi expressed gratitude to Armenia for its stance regarding Iran's peaceful nuclear file.
