Kerry.. a Lot of Countries Train Gunmen in Syria

Mar 06, 2013

WASHINGTON, (SANA)-US Secretary of State John Kerry said on Wednesday that many countries train the Syrian armed opposition.

"A lot of states are training the gunmen," AFP quoted Kerry as telling Fox TV in an interview during his visit to Qatar, without elaborating details about the countries concerned.

In a relevant context, British Foreign Secretary William Hague said that his country will supply the Syrian gunmen with military assistance amounting $ 20 million.

"The fact says that diplomacy takes a long time and the possibility of making immediate breakthrough in very little," Hague added in a speech at the Parliament.
