MOSCOW, (SANA) – The Russian National Security Council on Friday discussed the situation in Syria.
Russia Today website quoted Dmitry Peskov, the Press Secretary of Russia's President Vladimir Putin, as saying that the meeting was attended by PM Dmitry Medvedev, Secretary of the Security Council of Russia Nikolai Patrushev, Minister of Defence Anatoly Serdyukov, Foreign Minister Sergie lavrov and Director of the Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov.
The meeting tackled social and economic issues and the international relations, with focus on the situation in Syria.
