MOSCOW, (SANA) – Official Spokesman for the Russian Presidency Dmitry Peskov said that President Vladimir Putin will head to Britain on Thursday for a short visit during which he will meet Prime Minister David Cameron and discuss a number of issues with him, including the Syrian crisis.
In a statement on Wednesday, Peskov said that the two sides are expected to resume their talks on the Syrian issue, and that Russia wishes to relay to the British side its position on this issue which is, justified, absolutely firm, and clear to the utmost degree.
Al-Maliki, Bogdanov Stress Need to Find Peaceful Solution to Syrian Crisis
Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki discussed on Wednesday with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov various regional issues, including the crisis in Syria.

The Iraqi Prime Ministry's website said that the talks focused on the need to find to find a peaceful solution for the Syrian crisis that stops the shedding of Syrian blood.
