Tehran: Dialogue is the Only Way to Solve Crisis in Syria

Jul 31, 2012

TEHRAN, (SANA)-Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salihi underlined that dialogue is the only way to solve the crisis in Syria, renewing his country's support to the plan of the UN Envoy to Syria Kofi Annan.

"There no justification to think in any possibility of changing the government in Syria," Salihi said during a meeting with the Turkish Assistant Foreign Minister on Tuesday.

Salihi added that Iran calls for the restoration of stability in Syria and for solving the crisis in the country through peaceful ways, dialogue and Annan's plan.
