BEIRUT, (SANA)_The Lebanese National Dialogue Committee stressed rejection of allowing establishment of a buffer zone on Lebanon's borders with Syria or using Lebanon as a conduit or platform for smuggling arms and gunmen to Syria.

In a statement following the a meeting of the Committee on Monday under the chairmanship of Lebanese President Michel Suleiman, the Committee stressed the importance of distancing Lebanon from regional and international conflicts, and saving it tensions and crises for protecting its higher interests and national unity.

The Committee underlined the importance of commitment to preserving stability and preventing resort to violence as it will lead to an inevitable loss.
