BEIJING, (SANA)_China vehemently condemned the twin terrorist attacks which ripped through al-Kazaz area in Damascus on Thursday.
Xinhua news agency quoted the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman, Hong Lei, as saying that "China vehemently condemns the blasts and opposes all forms of violence and terrorism.''
Lei added that the international community has to oppose any terrorist attack or act that violates the ceasefire and has to exert joint efforts to ease tension and back a political settlement to the crisis.
He added that there is a real chance for reaching a political solution to the crisis, calling upon all parties to stick to their commitment to ending violence effectively and immediately and fully implement the UN Security Council resolutions and the plan of the UN Envoy to Syria, Kofi Annan.
