Social Affairs Minister: New Plan to Provide Aid to Terrorism-Affected Families

DAMASCUS, (SANA) - Minister of Social Affairs Kinda al-Shammat said that the Ministry has a new plan to provide humanitarian aid to the families affected by the terrorist acts of the armed terrorist groups.

During the meeting of the Higher Committee for Relief on Wednesday, Minister al-Shammat stressed that the new measures will ensure that the relief committees will be able to carry out their tasks and duties efficiently.

For his part, Minister of State for the Syrian Arab Red Crescent Affairs, Joseph Sweid, stressed the need to setting clear mechanisms that contribute to equal distribution of aid to affected families.

In turn, Assistant Foreign and Expatriates Minister Hussam Eddin Alla said that the response plan set by the government came in cooperation with the UN organizations, adding that the plan came in framework of the efforts exerted by the government to meet the humanitarian needs of the affected families and enable and empower the civil societies to provide humanitarian aid to affected families in all areas.
