DAMASCUS,(SANA)-The subcommittee tasked with setting up the required mechanisms for inviting the national opposition and various political forces to dialogue on Sunday met a delegation embracing representatives of Institutes Branch in Damascus.
Damascus Governor, Head of the Subcommittee Bishr al-Sabban underlined the importance of dialogue in discussing the problems, concerns and viewpoints of the students and their proposals as they constitute an important spectrum of the society and they are the basis of building the future of modern Syria.
He affirmed the necessity of submitting a worksheet and proposals to be discussed, indicating that these meetings come in completion of a series of dialogue meetings and in implementation of the political program for solving the crisis in Syria in the framework of the national sovereignty and principles.
Chairman of the Institutes Branch in Damascus, Firas al-Azb underlined the importance of these meetings in the current time as they come in implementation of the political program.
He indicated that several dialogue meetings were held with the students last year to discuss their problems, concerns and aspirations for solving the crisis in Syria as there were a consensus on the necessity of reaching solutions, uniting the ranks and discarding violence.
