Volunteers Stage Mourning Stand for al-Thawra St. Terrorist Bombing Martyrs

DAMASCUS, (SANA) – In commemoration of the Syrians who were martyred by the terrorist bombing which hit al-Thawra Street in Damascus, Damascus Voluntary Team staged on Sunday evening a mourning and candles stand at the bombing site.

Participants in the stand drew the map of Syria with the flag of the homeland and waved placards condemning the coward terrorist act, stressing that such terrorist operations will not stop the Syrian people form heading forward in clearing the homeland from terrorism.

They roundly denounced the silence of the international community on such atrocious acts, asserting solidarity with the martyrs and their families.

Syrian Democratic Youth Union Condemns al-Thawra St. Terrorist Bombing in Damascus

The Syrian Democratic Youth Union condemned on Sunday the terrorist bombing which hit al-Thawra street in Damascus, stressing that this criminal act is aimed to undermine the possibility of a future settlement and political dialogue.

In a statement, the Union held those who call themselves "Friends of the Syrian people" fully responsible for this bombing, pointing out that the silence of these countries can be considered as "collusion."
