PROVINCES, (SANA) - Several areas across most of the provinces witnessed rainfall over the past 24 hours, the heaviest was in Lattakia province recording 76 mm in certain areas.

According to the Meteorology Department, Sunday's temperatures are running around average as the country remains under low pressure, accompanied by a relatively moist and cold air mass.

The Department's weather forecast for Sunday the weather will continue to be partly cloudy, with an opportunity for heavy rain showers, accompanied by thunder, above the Coastal and northern areas. Wind is moderate to strong, southwesterly and sea waves are mid-high.
