Al-Halqi Calls on all Political Forces to Participate in Dialogue

DAMASCUS, (SANA) – The Ministerial Committee tasked with implementing the political program to solve the crisis in Syria met with members of the National Reconciliation Committee at the People's Assembly, headed by MP Omar Ousi.

Prime Minister Dr. Wael al-Halqi, heading the Ministerial Committee, stressed that the government is working on implementing the items of the first phase of the political program, calling upon all political and social forces to participate in the political dialogue according to a national vision that rejects foreign interference in the internal affairs and believes in democratic and multi pluralism Syria.

He called on members of the People's Assembly to participate in their provinces' meetings, calling for enhancing cooperation between authorities.

Premier al-Halqi briefed the MPs on the procedures taken by the committee regarding providing the citizens' needs and alleviating their suffering in addition to communicating with the Syrians outside the country and ensuring their safe return to their homeland.

For his part, Head of the National Reconciliation Committee at the People's Assembly talked about the program of the committee, stressing the importance of cooperation and coordination between authorities as to implement the political program.

Members of the National Reconciliation Committee highlighted the importance of providing the needs of the citizens and following up on the issues of the kidnapped and arrested persons.

Premier al-Halqi stressed the government's keenness on dealing with all issues related to citizens, hailing the sacrifices of the Syrian Arab Army, stressing the need to support the Armed Forces.

He expressed belief that Syria will win the battle against terrorism and the conspiracy because of its adherence to its national principles and support to the Resistance in the region.
