TARTOUS, (SANA) - Minister of State for National Reconciliation Affairs Dr. Ali Haidar stressed that the solution to the crisis in Syria lies in the hands of the Syrians themselves.
During his meeting with popular and religious figures in Tartous on Friday, Minister Haidar said that all provinces are witnessing intensified meetings aimed at setting the appropriate mechanisms and laying down visions and proposals for the political program as to solve the crisis through dialogue.
He stressed that Syria will always be a pioneer country in coexistence and amity and its army will always be the guarantee for the country's unity and security.
He called for protecting the national unity in the face of the external aggressions and adopting dialogue as the way to solve all problems resulting from the crisis.
He said that objective conditions to overcome the crisis are ripening on the internal, regional and international levels.
"Ending violence is the priority of the government, which is working on providing the needs of the citizens despite the unjust sanctions," he said, adding that the case of the kidnapped citizens is one of the most complicated files which the Ministry is working on.
For his part, Head of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party, Tartous Branch, Hassan Shaaban, underlined the importance of national unity and communications for laying down the visions and bases for implementing the political program to solve the crisis.
Tartous Governor, Nizar Ismael, said that the Syrian people will never give upon their principles and the choice of resistance, calling for enhancing national unity and making the political program a success.
