Condemnations of Israeli Aggression Continue

DAMASCUS, (SANA)- Condemnations of the flagrant Israeli aggression on a scientific research center in Jamraya in Damascus Countryside continued on Friday.

The Arab Lawyers Union expressed denunciation of the Israeli aggression, saying it clearly unveils Israel's involvement in the events in Syria.

In separate statements, the People's Party, the Democratic Socialist Unionist Party and the Democratic Front Party expressed strong denunciation of the Israeli attack and the Arab and international silence towards it.

Local Parties: Israeli Attack Is Part of the Conspiracy

The Parties considered that this Zionist aggression is a part of the conspiracy hatched against Syria, stressing that the Syrian people will be more determined to preserve national unity and achieve victory.

In the same context, the General Peasants Union described the Israeli attack on the scientific research center in Jamraya as "a crime committed in violation of the international laws and conventions."

"The aggression is a desperate attempt to rescue the terrorists who are falling down under the strikes of the Syrian Arab Army," the Union said in a statement.

Syrians in Slovakia Denounce Coward Israeli Attack

The Syrian students and community members in Slovakia strongly condemned the coward Israeli attack on Jamraya research center in Damascus Countryside.

In a statement issued on Friday, the Syrians stressed that this barbaric act came within the terrorist scheme plotted by the Zionist entity and some regional and international powers which support terrorists and terrorism.

The statement added that the goal of such attack is to pressure Syria to change its principled stances and its resistance approach towards the Israeli plots which aim at disrupting security in the region and fragmenting it into cantons.

The Syrian students and community members reiterated support to the political program to solve the crisis in Syria.

The statement stressed that the Zionist aggression will enhance the determination of the students in Syria and abroad to defend the homeland's sovereignty and unity.

Syrian Students in Romania Condemn Israeli Aggression

Meanwhile, the Syrian students in Romania expressed their denunciation of the Israeli aggression, saying that it targets the security and stability of their homeland.

In a statement issued by the National Union of Syrian Students in Romania, the students condemned the destruction of vital facilities and assassinations of scientists and experts witnessed in Syria in the framework of the Zionist-U.S. scheme.

International Human Rights Representative Condemns Israeli Aggression

Representative of the International High Commission for Human Rights to Lebanon and the Middle East, Ambassador Haitham Abu Said, said that the Israeli aggression on a scientific research center in Jamraya in Damascus countryside is a breach of international conventions and the sovereignty of states.

In a statement on Friday, Abu Said called on the international community and the UN Security Council to condemn the attack and adopt the harshest of punitive measures against Israel to prevent it from carrying out such acts that may lead to an all-out war in the region.

He also urged Western countries to revise their stances regarding the situation in Syria and refrain from backing the armed terrorist groups to end bloodshed there and maintain world peace, stressing that the Syrian leadership enjoys wide popularity in Syria.
