Al-Halqi: Government is Keen on Providing Support to Displaced Syrians

DAMASCUS, (SANA) - Prime Minister Dr. Wael al-Halqi stressed that the government is keen on providing all support to the Syrians who were forced to leave their houses because of the acts of the armed terrorist groups.

During his meeting with Head of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) Dr. Abdul Rahman al-Attar, Premier al-Halqi highlighted the importance of cooperation among the government, the SARC and the civil societies as to provide relief to the affected persons.

He pointed out to the positive outcome of the work of the Ministerial Committee tasked with implementing the political program to solve the crisis in the country.

For his part, Dr. al-Attar expressed appreciation for the support provided by the government to the SARC, adding that the organization has plans to provide all kinds of humanitarian aid to the Syrian people outside the country.

In another context, Premier al-Halqi issued a decision on committing the workers to work hours and not leaving their work places without permission.
