DAMASCUS, (SANA) – People's Assembly, chaired by its Speaker Mohammad Jihad al-Lahham, cancelled the membership of Mohammad al-Helw over his public appearance on TV channels involved in shedding the Syrian blood to announce his going off the Assembly.
The Assembly considered al-Helw's announcement as openly conspiring against the homeland, jeopardizing the civil peace and undermining the state's national unity.
The Assembly returned the draft law on regulating the public job to the government for re-scrutiny.
Members of People's Assembly stressed the importance of close and accurate review of the draft law since it affects wide class of state workers as the draft law does not deal with workers' problems.
They considered such a law important for proposing the state's general policies and setting up related strategic plans.
