DAMASCUS, (SANA)- The Cabinet on Wednesday decided to form a committee led by Deputy Premier for the Services' Affairs, Minister of Local Administration Omar Ghalawanji to study the executed works and their cost related to reforming, rebuilding and rehabilitating infrastructure of what has been sabotaged by the armed terrorist groups.
During a session led by Prime Minister Wael al-Halqi, the Cabinet also decided to form an economic committee headed by the Premier with the membership of Ministers of Finance, Economy and Governor of the Central Bank of Syria to monitor the economic situation in the country in light of the current conditions and take necessary procedures to deal with them as well as controlling prices' rise and the currency exchange market.
Minister of State for the National Reconciliation affairs Ali Haidar pointed out to the importance of the national meeting that will be held in Tehran during the current month among the national opposition powers, political and social spectrums to open channels of dialogue and communication among them to solve the internal file and overcome the ongoing situations, depending on dismissing violence and rejecting foreign intervention.
For his part, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Maazi Hunaidi affirmed that his Ministry is exerting huge efforts to provide local demands of fuel, gas and all petroleum products to the citizens in all Syrian cities.
