Al-Halqi: Crisis is in Final Stage, Working on Reaching Peaceful Solution

DAMASCUS, (SANA) – Prime Minister Dr. Wael al-Halqi on Monday said that the crisis in Syria is in its final stage.

The remarks came during a meeting with head of the Farmers' General Union Hamad al-Saud and the Executive Bureau of the union.

Premier al-Halqi added that the state is working on solving the crisis through field work and political, economic and social methods with the aim of stopping violence and ensuring the security and stability of the country.

Al-Halqi hailed the role of the Syrian Arab Army in pursuing and eliminating the terrorist groups in Syria, stressing that the government is keen on providing all the needs of the Syrians.

Premier al-Halqi pointed out that the Syrian economy is stable and balanced despite the sanctions imposed on the country.
