PROVINCES, SANA_ Guard members of the Scientific Studies and Research Center in the Western al-Zahra neighborhood in Aleppo confronted an armed terrorist group which was trying to attack the center, inflecting heavy losses upon its members.
An official source told SANA reporter in Aleppo that the guards confronted the terrorists and managed to kill dozens of them, then a unit of the army forces interfered and eliminated the rest of the terrorists.
The source said the clash resulted in the martyrdom of one of the army forces.
The armed forces also destroyed 6 DShK-equipped cars with all the terrorists inside them between Kfer Hamra and al-Mansoura areas in Aleppo.
Authorities Inflict Heavy Losses Upon Terrorists in Homs
In Homs, authorities clashed with an armed terrorist group in Bab Hood and inflicted heavy losses upon them.
An official source told SANA reporter that the Army Forces killed and injured several terrorists.
The source added that the authorities confronted an armed terrorist group that attempted to attack a law enforcement point in al-Naqeira region in Tal Khalakh, where they killed and injured many of the terrorists.
The authorities also clashed with a group of mercenary terrorists that was attacking civilians and law enforcement members in Jeb al-Jarrah village in the province.
The authorities inflicted heavy losses upon the group according to the source.
Armed Forces Pursue Terrorists in Damascus Countryside
Units of the armed forces continue their operations against terrorists in al-Hajar al-Aswad, al-Qadam and al-Asali areas.
SANA reporter said that the operations resulted in the killing of a large number of terrorists and the arrest of others.
Authorities Kill a number of mercenaries in Daraa countryside
The competent authorities today pursued the armed terrorist groups in Ezraa, Daraa countryside, inflicting heavy losses among them.
An official source said the clashes with terrorists led to the killing and injuring of a big number of them and confiscating their weapons.
The source added that the authorities clashed with mercenaries in Ghabagheb, killing terrorists Shizar Mohammad al-Mawardi, Mohammad Farhat and his brother Ali.
Explosive detonated while preparing it in Homs, Five terrorists killed
An explosive device was detonated while preparing it inside a storehouse for manufacturing explosives at Jobar in Homs.
A source in Homs said that five terrorists were killed in the explosion.
Authorities Storm Terrorist Hideout in HamaThe authorities stormed a terrorists' hideout in al-Shiyha village in the countryside of Hama and seized several weapons and medical equipment inside it.
A source in the province told SANA reporter that the entrance to the hideout was covered with a gas oven inside the house.
The source added that the seized weapons included 5 machineguns, medical equipment and medicines.
