Security and Calm Back to Yalda Town in Damascus Countryside

DAMASCUS, (SANA) – The armed terrorist groups could not survive more than 6 hours behind the walls of Yalda town in Damascus countryside as the brave soldiers the Syrian Arab Army cleared the whole area of hundreds of terrorists who were provided with various advanced weapons.

An official military source told SANA reporter that the terrorists have used various types of RPG rounds, PKC machineguns and Kalashnikov rifles to attack the army units in Yalda.

The source added that terrorists from various Arab nationalities have been identified and that a large number of terrorists were killed while the rest ran away.

The source pointed out that terrorists plant huge numbers of explosive devices and roadside bombs in the streets and outside government buildings and mosques to hinder the progress of the army, asserting that the army is continuing its national mission which is pursuing the armed terrorist groups until all Syrian territories are cleared of terrorists.

Meanwhile, the military engineering units discovered several explosive devices wrapped in a blanket near Yalda Archaeological Bath.

The families of Yalda town came back early in the morning to inspect their properties and to see what happened to their town, knowing that the presence of the army and the determination of their sons will make their town even better.

Yalda town is located is East Gouta, Damascus Countryside, and over 200,000 people live in this town.
