DAMASCUS, (SANA) - Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform Subhi al-Abdullah discussed with the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Representative in Syria, Abdullah Tahir Bin Yehia, means of boosting cooperation between the two sides.

Minister al-Abdullah underlined the FAO efforts to improve agriculture in Syria through funding development projects and providing aid to farmers and drought-affected families.

For his part, Bin Yehia said that the FAO aims at enhancing cooperation with Syria and providing help to the farmers particularly in the eastern area.
