DAMASCUS, (SANA)-People's Assembly on Sunday discussed a report on forming four permanent committees concerned in the general freedoms, human rights, Women and children rights as well as the rights of youths, press and publications.
During a session led by Speaker Mohammad Jihad al-Laham, The MPs called for forming those committees in response to the changes aiming at boosting the national unity, cultural diversity and the human rights.
The step comes in line with the new constitution which guaranteed the social justice, equality and freedom of expression. The Assembly will hold the next session tomorrow.
