DAMASCUS, (SANA) – Minister of Interior, Let. Gen. Mohammad al-Shaar, said on Saturday that providing interior security forces with young cadres will upgrade the performance of the police units.
During a graduation ceremony held at the faculty of Martyr Major Bassel al-Assad for Police Sciences in celebration of the graduation of a new batch of non-commissioned officers, al-Shaar stressed that everyone conspiring against Syria is allied with the Israeli occupation in implementing the hostile schemes aimed at dominating the region.
He pointed out that an international war has been waged against Syria during which all forms of conspiracy were used including economic sanctions, igniting seditions and provocative media campaigns funded by some Arab regimes.
The Minister asserted that the competent authorities are continuing their efforts to arrest the armed terrorist groups in spite of the large number of the martyrs and the wounded who sacrificed their lives and blood for the sake of the dignity, security and stability of the homeland.
