DAMASCUS, (SANA) –The youth group of 'Sama al-Wattan', 'The Homeland Sky' on Friday started a campaign to decorate the main squares in Syria, starting from Umayyad Square in Damascus.
The activity is held in appreciation of the sacrifices made by the army's martyrs and the efforts exerted by the army and the law-enforcement personnel to restore security and stability to the country.
The media official of the group, Rakan Milhem, said that the group started its campaign from Damascus and will expand its activities to the other provinces.
He added that the Syrian youths are voluntarily participating in this activity in order to raise the national cultural awareness at a time when the enemies of Syria are trying to distort the Syrian national culture.
