Parties Affairs' Committee Gives License to Syria Al-Watan Party

DAMASCUS, (SANA) – The Parties Affairs Committee held on Sunday a meeting chaired by Minister of Interior, Let. Gen. Mohammad al-Shaar and gave a license to a new party titled 'Syria Al-Watan'.

Minister al-Shaar pointed out that the committee gave a license to the party after studying its documents and completing all procedures, adding that the number of licensed parties has become nine parties so far.

The Committee, during its latest meetings, licensed eight new parties, they are "the Solidarity, Syria Democratic, al-Ansar, Democratic al-Talea and the Democratic Arab solidarity, the National Development, Syrian National Youth, National Youth for Justice and Development in addition to the parties of National Progressive Front".
